So it's really cool to see that you have a good natural eye for taking artistic shots- these are really nice to look at!
I especially enjoy the series of photos for the softball game: the old leathery texture of the glove, the great angle and vivid colors of the spikes, and the angle of the line of players at the end of the game (great angle on that, too, by the way )
I can tell that there was an organization naturally built in with the softball game- a routine. This was captured nicely in that series of pictures- the rest of the day seems a little more disjointed- playing with the dog, doing laundry, playing some games. there's just not as strong of a connectivity with them, which is ok- that's just how the day seemed to be!

ReplyDeleteI thought you did a great job with this series. I really loved how you started with your date book picture. My favorite picture is the shoes. I like the angle and the pretty sky behind it.
Is that a tennis ball with the dog? I love the blurry dog, but I think I would've like the ball (or thing) to be more in focus instead of just the tiny bits of string that are in focus. Is the second picture your mitt? I really like the textures on that one.
Nice work on the challenge. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this week! Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteYour first photo really jumps out at me. I really love the angle but I do wish that the word, "Monday" was more in focus. It looks like such a nice script.
You have a nice eye for composition, especially close up shots. I find it interesting, that out of this set, you have one photo that is not a close up. Although it is a nice image, it sort of sticks out a little among the whole set.
Shot #3 is my favorite out of all the images. The lighting is strong as well as the composition. I really enjoy the texture of the cleats, as well as the colours of the image.
I enjoy the sequence of the images.
