Weekly Photo Challenge #26

This week's challenge is brought to you by the colour BLUE!
We're going to go on a little treasure hunt this week.
Rules:
1.) Go out into your community/city/town/street and search for things that are blue.
2.) Submit three photos (Colour of course) by Sat. Aug 1st.
3.) Tweaking is allowed.
4.) Try to create a set of photos as apposed to just three random pictures. Think about how they all work together to create either an idea or a feeling.
5.) HAVE FUN!

Here's my take....I get bored at work...and there are a few blue items there!

  1. I love these photos and the fact that you mixed up the angle in the last one. I especially like that one. It's a great composition. I love the interplay between the mesh in the rackets, the shadows and reflection on the floor.

  2. My fav is the 2nd one, the angel of the drinks balanced out by the shelf lines works well. Very refreshing.

The last photo is very busy, took my a few mintues to figure out what the objects really are, I liked that this photo has so much texture and patterns working in it... this would make a great abstart photo blown up on a huge wall somewhere.

  3. Hey Mary!
My favorites are the last two. The gatorade pic makes me thirsty. I really like the last one...I'm glad you were able to incorporate the counter tops...because they have blue specks in them. I love the shadows and reflections. Great job! :)

  4. hey, Mary!
I really like the last two- and especially the last one- I am glad that you kept "shooting and shooting" until you got the perfect shot- a great concept- and good risk-taking with this one, too- the angles are gorgeous, and all the lines and the blue that is repeated throughout the photograph is gorgeous- great shot!

  5. I love the pictures of the Gatorade! I love the angle and how the light makes the first bottle look bright and then the farther your eye travels back, the deeper the blue gets in the shadow. Great!

  6. I really like the curvy lines in the first one and it would've been my favorite, but the harsh white sign that is in focus instead of the pretty wavy lines changed my mind. My favorite is the last picture. It really made me want to study it because it was so interesting. great angle and great lines. Does the granite have blue in it, or is it just reflecting the blue of the ball?

  7. That last picture is awesome!!!
    I know it's almost everyone's favorite, but it doesn't hurt to re-mention it :)
Also, I like the gatorade, cuz it's my favorite flavor.
