Have fun!!!!
My laptop decided to take a ride down the pooper a few months ago, so we've been using Scott's laptop. Well, this challenge inspired me to pull mine out of the closet and see about getting it fixed! By the way, does anybody know of anybody that can fix a broken down computer for less than $100??
that computer has definitely seen better days.

My favorite picture is the last one. I like the light. :)
that last picture is by far the most beautiful picture I have ever seen of a keyboard. Not kidding!
ReplyDeleteI love that the ligh source seems to be coming towards the viewer-the highlights are perfect.
Nice set!

I've seen too many of these in person! I have about six of these at school that need work. Fix for <$100? Is it worth that? By the way, I like the pictures for their unique perspectives. Looking at the whole of a broken laptop can be overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteon the first one i sort of wish that the focus was flipped so that the dust and stuff that is closest to us is in focus and the farther ground is not. I like the concept of taking close up shots of different parts of the laptop. The third picture is my fav and I agree with the others about the light source makng it interesting. I wish that there was a picture of another part of this broke down laptop though, instead of showing us two shots of the keyboard.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is a negative or a positive for sure, but these images don't convey to me the theme of "broke down" on their own. As the viewer I needed the story to fully convey this concept.
Good job this week. Thanks for sharing.
Mary this is a really great set! I'd love to know what your light source was for the last one. I agree with Em, that one is particularly stunning. The other two photos kind of set the mood for the last one. The lighting you used was key in getting the details of the dust to show up. Great Job!
